Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

Last Updated: [LAST UPDATED DATE]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.siterepairpro.com and related pages, forms, emails, and tools (together, the "Site"), including the Free Quick Scan. The Site is operated by [BUSINESS LEGAL NAME], a [ENTITY TYPE] doing business as Site Repair Pro, [ADDRESS] ("Site Repair Pro," "we," "us," or "our").

By using the Site or requesting a Free Quick Scan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Paid services (Site Health Check, Fix-It Package, and Monitoring) are governed by our Client Service Agreement. If these Terms conflict with the Client Service Agreement about a paid service, the Client Service Agreement controls.

1. Who May Use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Site for a business, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. The Site is intended for users in the United States.

2. Our Services, in Brief

Site Repair Pro fixes broken links, SSL certificate problems, and technical SEO issues. We do not provide malware removal, hacked-site cleanup, or security services. Our offers are: the Free Quick Scan; the Site Health Check (from $150, priced by the size of the site, with the price confirmed before you pay); the Fix-It Package (starting at $450; larger scopes are quoted); and Monitoring at $50/month. Health Check tiers are $150 for up to 250 pages (3 business days), $250 for 251–500 pages (5 business days), and Custom over 500 pages. Fix-It tiers are Standard at $450 (up to 20 unique broken target URLs and 10 pages, one shared budget) and Plus at $750 (up to 40 links and 20 pages, one shared budget, up to 3 hostnames, chain cleanup, and structured data on 1 template). Add-ons are $100 per 25 links or per 15 pages, and only with written approval. Descriptions and prices on the Site are for information only and may change. A purchase is final only when it is confirmed in an Order under the Client Service Agreement.

3. Free Quick Scan

3.1 What it is, and when we run it

The Free Quick Scan is a free, automated, narrow check of a website's homepage, its certificate, and a few standard public files. We run a Quick Scan only when someone requests it through the form on the Site or by emailing hello@siterepairpro.com. We do not scan websites proactively or without a request. This is a permanent policy: requested scans only. While the automated tool is being built, a person runs and reviews each scan.

3.2 What it checks (the complete list)

The Quick Scan checks only the following, for the website address you submit (we scan the site's origin, https:// plus the hostname; any path in the address you submit is ignored):

  1. SSL certificate: whether the certificate presented on a normal secure connection is valid and trusted, matches the site's hostname, has a complete chain, and how many days remain until it expires.
  2. HTTP to HTTPS redirect: whether the plain http:// homepage redirects to https://, and whether the redirect loops.
  3. Homepage broken links: the links (<a href>) and images (<img src>) found in the homepage's initial HTML, up to 50 links, each checked to see whether it works, is broken, or couldn't be verified. The scan reads the HTML without running JavaScript.
  4. Homepage title: whether the homepage has a <title>, and its length.
  5. Homepage meta description: whether the homepage has a meta description, and its length.
  6. robots.txt: whether /robots.txt exists, and whether it blocks all search engines.
  7. Sitemap: whether an XML sitemap is present (listed in robots.txt, or at /sitemap.xml or /sitemap_index.xml).

What it does NOT check: any page other than the homepage; site-wide crawling; speed or Core Web Vitals; mixed content; HSTS; canonicals; headings; indexability; structured data; mobile-friendliness; TLS protocol, cipher, or vulnerability testing; security headers; malware, blacklists, or Safe Browsing status; open ports; logins; forms; or content built with JavaScript. The Quick Scan is not a security or malware check. These deeper checks are part of the paid Site Health Check.

3.3 How the scanner behaves

3.4 Requesting a scan

When you request a scan, you confirm that you own or manage the website, or have a legitimate reason to review its public pages, and you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You also agree that we may email you the results and about your request. Do not use the Quick Scan to harass, burden, or harm any website or person. To prevent abuse, we limit scans (for example, 3 scans per email address per day and one scan of the same site per 24 hours), and we may decline any request, including requests that suggest a security or malware problem, which is outside our services.

3.5 Results; informational only; no warranty

We email results to the address you provide, generally within one business day. The email may link to a web version of your report, which expires after 30 days. Quick Scan results are automated, narrow, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are provided for general information only. They are a snapshot of the checked items at the time of the scan. They are not a full audit, a security assessment, or professional advice, and they do not mean a site is secure, safe, compliant, or free of malware. THE FREE QUICK SCAN IS PROVIDED "AS IS," FREE OF CHARGE, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. You should not rely on scan results alone to make business decisions.

3.6 Opting a website out of scans

If you own or manage a website and do not want it scanned, email hello@siterepairpro.com with the domain. We will add it (and its subdomains) to our do-not-scan list, usually the same day, and within no more than [10] business days. You can also block the scanner in your robots.txt:

User-agent: SiteRepairProQuickScan
Disallow: /

3.7 No obligation

Receiving a Free Quick Scan does not obligate you to buy anything.

4. Our Commitments on Paid Work

For paid work, our commitments (G-01) are set out in full in the Client Service Agreement. In summary:

Conditions and limits apply. See the Client Service Agreement (Sections 2.5, 2.6, 7, and 11). We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, or other results, and we do not offer "fix-or-don't-pay," "satisfaction guaranteed," or a Health Check refund if nothing fixable is found.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Your Submissions

If you become a client, we will give you a secure way to share access.

7. Communications

By submitting a form or emailing us, you agree that we may email you about your request, including your Quick Scan results and a single follow-up about our services. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time by replying "stop" or emailing hello@siterepairpro.com. We send occasional tips only if you opt in. We do not currently send text messages. If we add text messaging in the future, we will send texts only with your prior express consent, and you will be able to reply STOP to opt out.

8. Intellectual Property

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SITE OR THE FREE QUICK SCAN WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM AMOUNT]. This section does not limit liability under a paid engagement, which is governed by the Client Service Agreement.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Site (including scan requests for websites you are not entitled to request), your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

13. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new "Last Updated" date. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site means you accept them. We may suspend or end access to the Site at any time.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

[PLACEHOLDER - CONFIRM WITH ATTORNEY] These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved [as provided in Section 12 of the Client Service Agreement / exclusively in the state or federal courts in [COUNTY], Utah], except that either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

15. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement about the Site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor.
